How can we help you?

How can we help you?

The way we work at Smits is something you really should see for yourself. Because we can tell you that we supply trees and plants in many different varieties and sizes. That they are of supreme quality because we take good care of them. That we handle our soil in a sustainable manner, that we innovate and continue to evolve. As a company and as people. But it’s best to arrange an appointment with us so that you can see this for yourself. Experiencing this yourself is the best way of understanding how we work. You can then see with your own eyes how our fields are laid out. And how our logistics chain works throughout Europe. And, the most important thing, we can then discuss how we can offer you, as a horticulturist or horticultural professional, the best possible service.

At the right place for a complete plant list

At the right place for a complete plant list

At Smits Tree Nurseries we have lots of plants and trees. But we don’t supply everything. For that reason, for many years we have worked with parties within the industry. Growers and suppliers that we know deliver quality. In almost all cases, this concerns customisation. We help customers think through their needs, provide advice and engage the right parties so that we can supply the complete plant list.

Our projects

A beech hedge for a real estate project in Dordrecht

After this client’s visit to Smits Tree Nurseries, Smits Hedging® was chosen. And more specifically, Fagus sylvatica. This beech hedge immediately looks mature and it provides the privacy that the occupants require.

‘Blue Prince’ for a cloud hedge in the gardens of a villa in Belgium

The cloud hedging is a distinctive feature of this garden. Our client chose Smits Cloud Hedging® Ilex meserveae ‘Blue Prince’. A multi-stemmed Betula utilis ‘Doorenbos’ was added to accentuate the cloud hedge.
